Our hens get to strut around the farm, with a couple of roosters standing guard while they peck and claw and find all the good nutrients the farm has to offer. We also supplement their hunts with Non-GMO feed and plenty of fresh water. They have lovely hay-lined recycled drawers to lay their assorted colored eggs in. We believe chickens lay best when they're happy and ours are definitely happy. We also believe that the bloom on the egg should not be washed off, for it's meant to naturally seal and protect the egg from harmful bacteria that can enter an egg due to its porous shell. So we do our very best to keep their egg-laying locations clean at all times. Eggs that do not meet our standards are not included in your share.
