Our layer chicks are hatched on Colorado’s Western Slope and brought to Gunnison as day-old hatchlings. Raised in fresh air and sunshine. We tend them by hand, and feed them nutritious non-GMO chick starter and Dayspring layer mix, along with broccoli leaves, cabbages, spinach, cucumbers, grasses, kitchen scraps, and all the bugs and worms they discover in our pastures and high tunnels. Our birds thrive at altitude on our farm in Gunnison, and their eggs are delicious and healthy for you and your family.
