Our Spring vegetable CSA share is made up of 4-6 different types of vegetables per week , with about a meal's worth of each vegetable. The season starts out greens-heavy with winter-sweetened kale and spinach, and quickly ramps up with baby arugula, radishes, salad turnips, and mixed cooking greens. A typical share might contain a bunch of kale, a bag of arugula, a bunch of radishes and two gem lettuces. This share is definitely for the greens-lovers out there, and highlights some of the nicest greens of the season well before local greens fill the supermarkets. This share is beloved by home gardeners because it complements an outdoor gardening season nicely, ending right when your own greens start coming in.
