Cascade Fire Silverskin Certified Organic Garlic is a beautiful garlic with long, magenta-wrapped cloves and smooth silver-white outer cover. Weve been selecting this strain for nearly 30 years, focusing on a high percentage of large cloves and a large overall bulb size. This variety makes great braids and is an excellent keeper. Spicy-hot cloves hold their heat when cooked, are fairly large and peel easily for a silverskin type. Excellent seed-to-harvest yield. Bulbs can be large. A Whistling Duck selected cultivar producing large silvery-white bulbs with a strong flavor. Excellent for braids and keeps well. Silverskins are reliably productive and well-adapted across many regions, a favorite in Southern zones.
