DESCRIPTION: Red bell peppers are excellent raw or roasted, and freeze very well. These #2 grade peppers have minor blemishes, or minor insect damage, or are partly red/ partly green. Expect minor trimming. Eating quality is fine (or excellent). We throw away ALL peppers that we suspect have rot inside, although one may occasionally slip through. We charge less per pound for #2 grade peppers, making them an excellent value. STORAGE: Refrigerate and eat or process within four days of delivery. LOCATION: Choose one of our pick-up locations. (We are not offering all of our sites this time.) DEADLINE to place a pre-order: We will stop taking orders when we sell out, or by noon the day before delivery.
