Semi-compact Genovese, highly resistant to downy mildew. Multiuse Genovese basil with dense, slow-bolting plants produce large, 4", dark green, glossy, cupped leaves. A semi-compact plant with medium-length internodes and high yield potential. The Prospera® Active series offers even more resistance to downy mildew. Traditional Genovese aroma. Uniform plants with short spaces between leaves produce high yields. Basil is temperature sensitive - don't plant outside until nights are consistently over 50. Plant annually. Basil is heat-sensitive, and prefers a moderately rich, moist soil. Harden off and plant outside once night time temperatures are consistently above 50 degrees.
