Productive and very easy to grow. One of our favorite things to do with summer squash is to add it into Succotash along with chopped red bell peppers. Succotash is a traditional Indigenous dish of Eastern North America that has a base of corn kernels and beans. Another favorite is halving the squash, brushing them with oil, sprinkling with salt and grilling until slightly charred then squeezing lemon or lime on them. Such a good appetizer. Inevitably you will end up with "boats" aka very large squash. Do not fret! These are the perfect size for making zucchini bread. One plant in biodegradable paper 2.5" soil block.
