Heritage turkeys are the more natural choice of turkey. They forage more and eat a more natural diet than commercial white turkeys. They grow slowly and are therefore more nutritient dense and contain more metabolites and omega 3's. Their meat is darker and richer in flavor. They benefit from a low and slow cooking method. We process our heritage birds at around 7 to 10 months old. Your deposit secures your bird. You will pay the remaining amount at the time of pickup. Please indicate in the notes if you prefer a Jenny ~9 lbs +/-, or a Jake ~15 lbs. *This deposit covers turkey parts and ground as well.
