Sign up today and pick up your produce share the week of June 4th. The full-season pantry share will be run until October 26th. Each share can include any combination of five items: Herbal teas Pickles Veggie side dishes Dried herbs or kitchen spices Infused vinegars An occasional special treat ;) Our pantry items highlight Song Sparrow Farm’s Certified Naturally Grown produce and herbs and are prepared in a commercial kitchen at Mycoterra Farm in South Deerfield. All items are vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free with a shelf life between 5 and 365 days. Other common allergens will be clearly labeled, if included. A note on our ingredients: In 2023, Song Sparrow Farm partnered with an incredible community of farmers who believe, like we do, in using Organic practices to grow produce and herbs – Winter Moon Roots, Whale Rock Farm, Mycoterra Farm, Sweet Birch Herbals, Kitchen Garden Farm, Sleepy Owl Herbs, Flora & Fauna Farm, Red Fire Farm, and Riverland Farm. We also partner with local producers, like Lakeside Farm and Warner Farm, who use conventional methods to produce some staple crops, like onions or green beans. Most importantly, the Song Sparrow Farm team has relationships with the people who make the crops possible at all of these farms helping us contribute to a resilient food system. The support from these businesses was integral to Song Sparrow’s survival after the flooding that wrecked our crops in 2023. We look forward to continuing to partner with new and old friends in the food system to bring you more delicious and healthy treats in 2024!
