In 2025, Rootaloo Farm is offering spring, summer, and fall CSA sessions, each 10 weeks long, from mid-May through early December.
Weekly pickup is designed for medium sized households that cook regularly and eat a veggie forward diet. Biweekly pickup is for smaller households and individuals who want smaller quantities; it contains the same amount of produce as the weekly share, but pickups occur every other week instead of every week.
At each distribution, members will receive 7-10 produce items, harvested the day of or day before distribution.
Our goal is to include a well rounded mix of the following categories, for variety of flavors and meal options: leafy greens, herbs, alliums, summer fruit, roots
Note that there will be variation across the seasons, with a lot of tender greens in the spring, more tomatoes & peppers in the summer, then a heavier focus on greens and storage crops in November and December as we move into cold weather.
