Soap - Saboon Ghar/Aleppo
Description
Saboon ghar or saboon baladi is known as Aleppo or Laurel soap in the West. These soaps are made with olive oil and laurel berry oil and made with the traditional hot process technique that is still used today in Lebanon and Palestine. Each bar contains about 12% laurel berry oil. This batch is special because the olive oil was infused for 6 months with dried chamomile and sage from the farm! Ingredients: saponified extra virgin olive oil, laurel berry oil (12%). All soaps are made by our friend and neighbor Joy Youwakim of Saboon Maazeh, a farm and soap workshop dedicated to SWANA Heritage preservation. A percentage of all proceeds go to assist food security and humanitarian relief efforts in Lebanon and Palestine.
