2025 Herdshare Share
**MUST BUY THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP AND AGREE TO HERDSHARE CONTRACT**
***If you wish to get more than 1 gallon/week you will need to purchase TWO 2025 Herdshare shares, plus 2 Herdshare weekly gallon product. ***
The NC Farm Act was passed in 2018 allowing North Carolina dairy farmers to distribute raw milk to members of their herdshare. Individuals purchase a "share" of the herd. As a shareholder you are able to obtain and consume raw milk and dairy by-products from the herd.
Are you interested in getting a fresh supply of milk weekly without having to remember to place your order each week? Well purchasing a herdshare is for you!
Our herd consists of several purebred jersey cows and a few jersey/guernsey crosses. We milk twice a day with a milking machine. Our girls receive a dairy ration at time of milking. The dairy ration is a custom ration made at our local feed mill. During times the pasture is not as plentiful the herd gets dry hay and baleage that we grow ourselves.
Herdshare members will receive milk in jars that are purchased from the farm at $5/jar as stated in the contract.
Jars must be returned washed and clean at each pick up.
**MUST BRING SIGNED HERDSHARE CONTRACT AT FIRST PICKUP**

Example:
Purchase Herdshare Share @ $55 (one time fee)
Purchase Weekly Gallon @ $48/month (reoccuring for 10 months)
Purchase Jar Kit @ $5/jar ( 4 gallons a month would need 4 jars) (One time fee)
If you purchase 2 shares you will need a total of 8 jar kits.
