The small jar is a half pound of honey, from honeybees on our very on land here at the farm! Joe the beekeeper tends the hives and extracts some honey each year. The bees love flowering trees like honey locust and redbud, cover crops like buckwheat for their plentiful white flowers, and leftover crops like broccoli that might go to flower at the end of the season. He said 2025 has been a good year!
