CLASS DATE: SUNDAY MARCH 8TH AT 11AM
In this 2 hour class, you'll learn all about sourdough and the step by step process I use. You will have hands practice with mixing and shaping and I will go over the process from start to finish. We will also bake a loaf together to enjoy after class. This class is geared for absolute beginners and those who have dabbled in bread making.
Here is what is included in the cost of the class:
*Sourdough starter and sourdough kit, including a bowl, cloth & scoring blade to take home.
*A printed student guide.
*A ready to bake loaf you shape in class and dough you start in class and take home to bake the following day.
*Post-workshop support to make your sourdough journey a success
The class takes place in my home and we do have a cat (for those who have allergies).
*It is recommended that each participant have a Dutch Oven at home since everyone will bring home dough to bake later that night/weekend. The LODGE 5.5-quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven is the best and most affordable one that I have found. You can find it at Walmart or Target. Although it is a great investment for your sourdough journey, if you do not have a Dutch oven or do not want one, you can also use 2 Loaf pans, or any oven-safe covered dish.
I will email all students a reminder the Friday before the start of class. In case of emergency or weather I will reschedule class or refund tickets.
