Our ginger is harvested fresh through October. Once October arrives, we must freeze the ginger to make it last. We recommend leaving it frozen - you can grate off as much as you need, and stick it back in the freezer for later use. Super easy! Fresh Ginger is softer and less stringy than older, cured ginger. Plus it is beautiful with it's pink accents! Fresh Ginger will last up to a few weeks on the counter, and a few months in the fridge or freezer. We like to grate ginger into smoothies, stir fries, and salad dressings. Ginger is known for it's health benefits so add some to your teas and soups. Pictured is 1/4 lb.
