A bunch of Red Beets. Beets are one of our family's favorite veggies! They are wonderful roasted in honey and/or balsamic vinegar. We also enjoy them pickled, or steamed and included in salads. Our beets will sometimes come with the greens on - be sure to immediately remove the greens from the roots and store them separately in plastic bags in your fridge. The roots without their greens will last for weeks, if not months. The greens themselves can be used just like chard or spinach!
