Fennel is high in dietary fiber and potassium and has a slight anise flavor and fragrance. The bulb (enlarged base of the stems) is most commonly used here, but all parts are edible. We only grew a small amount this summer so try it before it is gone! You may get a couple smaller bulbs in place of a single large bulb.
