Winter Radishes grow best when planted later in the summer and harvested in late autumn/early winter. They also store well in the fridge or our cooler room making them a great choice for the Winter CSA. A little spicy, these are best enjoyed in small quantities, grated or diced on salads or in cooked meals. They are delicious when fermented alone, or add them to your ferments to enhance or speed up the process. Or use them to make a beautiful Kimchi.
We haven't begun to harvest and store these yet, but we know there are some big ones out there already. We'll send you a combo of colors depending on how much you order. Once we start to harvest them for storage we'll have them available by color/variety.
