In an effort to make our produce more accessible to all members of our community, we are offering a limited number of “Low-income Shares” in 2026. These shares are being offered through a combination of support from community donations to our Solidarity Fund and contributions directly from our farm.
We recognize that the American food system is broken, reflecting deep disparities in the broader economy. Our small farm, seeking to build life, health, and community, struggles to be viable in this system but we also believe in and seek to support the creation of a more fair and equitable reality.
To that end, we offer this small, imperfect option for folks who would like to eat our food but are not eligible for SNAP and still face financial limitations.
The quality, quantity, and variety of food in this share is the same as our other share types.
Consider signing up for this share if one or more of the points below describe your circumstances, or if you are experiencing some other socioeconomic hardship/barrier:
-You do not own your home
-You do not have retirement accounts, investments, or inherited money
-You do not have access to family money and resources in times of need
-You are supporting children, other dependents, or sending remittances
-You have significant debt
-You have medical expenses not covered by insurance
-You are on a fixed income or receive public assistance
-You identify as part of a historically marginalized group (BIPOC, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+, women, etc.)
