These plants were donated to the farm, and I'm not sure where they come from. While still considered a native plant, I believe them to be a cultivar, meaning they have been altered in some way to make them more desirable by the landscape industry (for instance, this could mean longer bloom times, more flowers, etc). They're still attractive to butterflies, though they may be less useful to them than a variety of veronica from this eco-region. They make a beautiful addition to your yardscape, are easy to grow, and are deer and rabbit resistant.
