Height: 12-15 feet at maturity
Fruit Flavor: Sweet and mildly tart, making them good all-purpose apples for baking (especially pies and crisps), snacking, cider-brewing. Crisp and juicy texture.
Sun: Full sun
Soil: well-drained
This variety is self-fertile and will produce good fruit on it’s own, but for highest quality and quantity fruit it’s recommended to plant another apple tree (of a different variety) nearby for cross-fertilization. It will take a few years for the tree to be big enough to produce a regular yield of fruit.
*These trees were donated to Conundrum Farm. Proceeds will fund the acquisition of other fruit (blueberries, aronia, elderberry, etc that are better suited for our production ability here).
