"Cross Country" variety. Fruits pickle well but I like them for fresh eating too (they have less goo and fewer seeds than slicing cukes). Sets fruit even without pollination, so may be left under row cover if you need to protect from squash vine borer. 1-2 plants/pot; if you get 2, don't separate plants, will grow well as a pair and doesn't like to be disturbed.
