Description

This season can accept SNAP benefits! The CSA is a SNAP program will subsidize the cost of the CSA share at 50%. The Vegetable CSA will cost $350 for the season, or is $16.67/week. SNAP Payments will be made weekly at CSA pick-up. Each week you will chose 6 - 8 vegetables and herbs from our market style setup. We focus on growing high quality flavor-forward varieties. Each week there will be some classic options (ex: kale, potatoes, lettuce) along with more unique varieties (ex: fairytale eggplant, shiso, garleek). There will be lots of herbs, 10+ varieties of tomatoes to try, and an abundance of greens. Some weeks we will supplement our shares with produce grown by our neighboring farmers at the Chester Agriculture Center. Each week you will receive a newsletter with farm updates, recipes, and storage recommendations. While not certified, everything is grown using organic growing practices.
