You may also choose to add a bit of compost or worm castings into the hole before adding the plant. Water in thoroughly. Variety description from Ujamaa Seeds: "The 'Queen Lime Rainbow' Zinnia is a captivating variety celebrated for its unique and soft color palette that stands out in any garden setting. The most striking aspect of the 'Queen Lime Rainbow' Zinnia is its array of soft, pastel colors blended with lime green undertones. The petals can display shades of pink, orange, yellow, and peach, often with a lime-green center or edge, creating a delicate and refreshing contrast. This blend of colors gives each flower a multi-dimensional appearance, making them look almost ethereal. The flowers of the 'Queen Lime Rainbow' Zinnia are large and full, with a double bloom structure that provides a lush, rounded appearance. The petals are slightly quilled or ruffled, adding to the flower's depth and interest. This variety can reach heights of 24 to 36 inches (60 to 90 cm), making it a robust and striking addition to the middle or back of a flower bed. Its stature also makes it an excellent choice for cut flower arrangements."
