Roselle Hibiscus Herbal Tea
Description
Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is also known as hibiscus, sorrel, flor de Jamaica, Florida cranberry, and chin baung. Using the roselle calyces (flower pods) produces a bright red herbal tea that's a bit sour, but in the best way. Sweeten it with local honey or simple syrup if needed. Though the plant is originally from Africa, in Mexico and the Caribbean, the calyces are traditionally used to make Agua de Jamaica, a delicious iced drink that is easy to make at home.
