Porophyllum ruderale Other names: Pápaloquelite, Bolivian Coriander, Quillquiña, Quirquiña, Yerba Porosa, Killi, Tepegua, Rupay Wachi, Mampuritu, Summer Cilantro Features: -Annual -Leaves used as seasoning throughout Latin America -Flavor often described as somewhere between arugula & cilantro -Heat loving & drought tolerant -Plant can get 5 feet tall & 3 feet wide in native habitat -Recommended for outdoor growing in a container or in the ground -Comes in a biodegradable pot We grow our plants from seed, start them indoors, and move them outside to the shade to acclimate to the weather. To transplant, dig a hole a bit larger than the biodegradable pot, tear the pot in a few places, and bury the the root ball (including the pot) in the hole. Our herbs are grown without the use of chemicals and are perfect for a cup of herbal tea. Every aspect of production is done on the farm, from planting the herbs to drying and packaging them. Our plant starts are unique (mostly heirloom) varieties of veggies and herbs that we grow from seed and are ready to go into your gardens.
