This egg share add-on is for customers paying with SNAP benefits only. IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR 2025 EGG SHARES: Due to concerns about and supply challenges related to avian flu, we are limiting egg share sign-ups to 1 egg share per household. Please do not add more than one egg share to your order. If you order more than one egg share per pickup, that portion of your order will be cancelled. Why? Every spring, we get a new flock of young birds to replace older hens. This year, securing new birds for the farm is as difficult as finding reasonably priced eggs on grocery store shelves! Our order of young hens for April has been delayed until May, but if that delivery is cancelled, we will have far fewer hens this year than usual. So for now, we are limiting egg share sales. If our new hens arrive in May, we will be able to open up more egg share sign-ups at that time. Please start by signing up for your SNAP Vegetable Share, where you will choose your pickup location and all of the dates you will pick up this season. Any add-on shares added to your cart will then be scheduled for the same locations and dates. You will pay for your first pickup at checkout (please select “pay per pickup” when checking out). For all remaining pickups, you will need to enter your EBT PIN in GrownBy each week. GrownBy will send you an email with a prompt to enter your PIN the morning of each pickup. Each pickup includes one dozen of our pasture-raised eggs. Our hens live out on the pasture, where they can peck at the plants and mineral-rich soils in addition to eating the grain we provide. This healthy diet means we have the healthiest eggs, with nutrient-rich orange yolks. These are happy, well-cared-for chickens!
