Probably the most popular hardneck type, because most garlic lovers find the flavor to be "true garlic". A Northwest heirloom that was reported to have been brought into Northwest Oregon before 1900, it is often called Greek garlic by home gardeners throughout the region. Has delightful coloring, easy-to-peel cloves and outstanding hot flavor, making it a favorite for chefs and foodies. Averages 11 cloves per bulb. Hardneck variety.
