Subscriptions are open for February! They will be open until February 5. Please send payment by Venmo (@GranjaLasAguilas) or CashApp ($EquipoAguilar), or use the credit card/ACH option in the GrownBy store here. As you likely won't see us at pickup, we prefer not to accept cash/check if possible. Please include a note in your order or email us to let us know if you wish to pay in cash or check - aguilasofamery@gmail.com.
Lynnhurst customers please note: We did not have many subscriptions for Lynnhurst pickup in December and January. If February yields less than 5 subscriptions, we will likely stop offering Lynnhurst as pickup option for March - May; if so, you can still subscribe but your only Minneapolis pickup option would at the Powderhorn porch location. Recruit your friends and neighbors if you want to see Lynnhurst remain an option!
All customers: Please remember to check your email in the week leading up to pickup, as you will receive 2 reminders - one from Grownby, and one directly from us (aguilasofamery@gmail.com). The reminder from us will include pickup instructions and address of the no-contact porch pickup location. You will have 2 full days to pick up your eggs (unless public safety concerns or individualized arrangements extend your pickup window), after which time any eggs left will be donated.

Continue getting your organic-fed, free-range eggs this winter from Granja Las Aguilas! This coming November through May, we will offer a limited number of egg subscriptions. Each subscription consists of 2 shares of 2 dozen eggs, delivered to a pick-up location every 2 weeks.
You make one prepayment of $28 at the beginning of the month (due on the Friday before the first drop off). We will drop off your eggs to a host who will make them available to you for no-contact pickup on their porch - 1st and 3rd Saturday morning, and you get two weeks worth of eggs in each pickup. You will have 2 days (Sat AM through Sunday PM) to pick up your eggs, after which any eggs left will be donated to homebound neighbors in Powderhorn in need of food.
Please note that the GrownBy shop defines each pickup as a "share" so that shares/pickups are priced at $14 each, and there are 2 in each month, which also equals $28. The prepay discount is 12.5%, $1 per dozen off of our market price of $8.
Subscriptions do not roll over to the next month. You must re-order for each month here before the beginning of the next month. This allows us to adjust for variances in production during the winter. This page will be updated with the number of available shares about two weeks in advance of the upcoming month.

- February 21-22 (Porch pickup Saturday 11am to Sunday 5pm)

- Lynnhurst neighborhood - a home close to Lynnhurst Park, about 6 blocks south, address will be emailed to you by Feb 6
- Farm Pickup (any time, just pick what is listed and contact us to set up a time that works for you)
We recommend one subscription per each member of your household who eats eggs for breakfast most days (e.g. 1 person eating 2 eggs a day 6 days per week want one subscription). If your family consumes more than 1 dozen per week, you are welcome to purchase multiple shares for that month. If it’s in stock here, there are still egg subscriptions available.

Granja Las Aguilas offers eggs, meat chickens, lamb, strawberries, and a selection of veggies. We sell at the Winter Market at Bachman's (last one March 14, 10am to 1pm) and the Southwest Market at Mt. Olivet Church (May 18 to Oct 31, 8:30am sharp to 1pm). You can also pre-order online here and pick a location/date to pick up your order.
We use organic methods and certified organic inputs (e.g. fertilizer, animal feed, etc), but Granja Las Aguilas is not currently certified organic. We (Silvano and Gina) have between us over a decade of experience in organic agriculture.
Other environmental practices:
- We protect our nearby waterways from livestock with a large setback (distance) and high-tensile fence that separates our pastures from the wetlands bordering our farm. We see dozens of varieties of birds and other creatures gracing our wetlands! Please contact us to visit for photography and general relaxation.
- We practice rotational and managed grazing for the health of our soil and animals.
- We have lots of milkweed and "weeds" beneficial to pollinators and insects, that we try to let stand whenever possible. Even the stand of milkweed that stubbornly inhabits the garden!
- We are constantly learning about new methods in regenerative agriculture, and how we can improve our processes.
