Castle Drive has appx 4-6" blooms. Tubers were dug from dahlias we grew last season and overwintered in cold storage. We've selected tubers to sell from our stock that have obvious eyes and/or are already starting to sprout so you're ensured a viable plant. If you're in an area that is too cold to put them in the ground (like us), you can put them in potting soil with the neck and head above the surface and take cuttings from the sprouts to get more plants, or you can pot the tuber and keep it in a warm spot to get a jump start on the growing season. *Dahlias will not survive in the ground during the Idaho winter (generally), so if you plant these and want to save them every year, you need to dig and store them properly. Or you can just purchase them annually. :)
