Prep the Green Garlic
1.Trim off the root end.
2.Remove any tough outer leaves and give a quick rinse.
3.Use the white and light green parts like garlic/onion.
4.Tender dark green tops can also be used like scallions.
A few good pairings:
potatoes, eggs, spring peas, asparagus, mushrooms, lemon, fresh cheeses, butter, grilled meats, blend in potato soup or broths, or grill whole with salt & olive oil.
