Crest Point Farms fresh dark brown Butifara Sausage is produced from the ancient heritage New Zealand Kunekune pig. The sausage ingredients are pork, garlic powder, salt, spices, and paprika. Pigs are born and raised on our farm, fed with grass, to achieve high nutrient density, accounting for its very dark brown coloring, and supplemented with veggies, fruits, and acorns. The pigs graze out on pasture right with our cattle. No hormones, no vaccines, no antibiotics, no growth hormones are ever used. Pigs are humanely harvested using a small pork USDA facility that allows us to personally transport them and place them in their own private pin to closely match an on-farm harvest. We have selected a butcher that uses no nitrates and no nitrides. Each package contains 4 sausage links.
