Premium quality alfalfa and alfalfa-orchardgrass hay.
Pallets of 40 bales. 50-55lb bales.
Alfalfa is $652 per pallet ($16.30 per bale) and the Alfalfa-Orchardgrass blend is $682 per pallet ($17.05 per bale).
Sources from Mid Atlantic Hay Company. They specialize in premium hay, supply many distributors and feed stores in NC as well as the NC Zoo and the TN Elephant Sanctuary. The hay is grown in Michigan. It is weed free and has good color. The bales are "converted," meaning they're cut from a larger compressed bale. This uses less pressure and keeps the nutrition intact.
Pickup is at the Madison County Extension Office, Wed afternoon 11/18 through Friday noon 11/20. We do not have long term storage available there, so please only purchase if you're able to pick up at one of the times provided.
This product is tax exempt if you have a tax-exempt farm ID. Please send us your tax exempt form at bulkpurchasing@cooperatewnc.org. If you do not provide the form, we will follow up with an invoice for sales tax.
We do not have the capacity to coordinate splitting pallet orders at this time.
