Primarily sweet and mild with a slightly smoky taste when cooked. This is not considered a hot pepper, although every once in a while you will find one pepper out of the bunch with a little heat!
Our favorite way to enjoy shishitos are tossed in oil, salt and pepper and then blistered in a hot dry cast iron pan for just 2-3 min. Just eat them right off the stem. Add to your favorite summer dish!
