From your grower:
Hi, I’m Holly, and together with my family, we run our small farmstead at Saluda Grade Farm on Warrior Mountain in Western North Carolina.
When COVID hit, we decided it was time to do something meaningful for our community. We started by growing fresh lettuce, but the more we learned about the powerful health benefits of microgreens, the more excited we became. We expanded, and now we grow the best lettuce, fresh herbs, and a wide variety of nutrient-packed microgreens right here on our mountain.
What began as a small backyard effort has grown into something bigger: the majority of our harvest now supports local non-profits across WNC. We keep everything small and hands-on on purpose. Every tray and every plant is seeded, tended with care, and hand-harvested fresh the same day.
We’re strong believers in small, local farms because nothing beats the superior quality, freshness, and trust that comes from knowing exactly who grew your food. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
Our lettuce, herbs, and microgreens are packed with flavor and nutrition, all grown with heart and intention. Whether they end up on your table or helping nourish folks through our non-profit partners, everything we grow is meant to bring real health and goodness to our community.
Thank you for supporting our small mountain farm — it truly means the world to us.
— Holly & the Saluda Grade Farm Family
