We raise our cattle from birth on our farm here in Maryville Tn. They grow up in pastures on grass and their Mama’s milk, and then are finished on grains we grow, harvest and mix for them, as well as free choice of good hay. We also grow the hay. The beef we harvest is under three years of age, out of bulls with strong genes for marbling (believe it or not, this matters a LOT!) raised right, fed right and we take pride in our low-stress cattle handling methods. We shoot for quality grade prime, and also have choice. No select. This is the beef we feed our family! We do not use hormone implants. (All beef has hormones in it because cattle are living things) Our beef and freezers are USDA inspected. Our processor dry ages the beef for us for two weeks before it is cut up and shrink wrapped and frozen.
