This is one unique fruit! The flavor is a mix between a tomato and a pineapple and it looks like a mini tomatillo with the golden berry fruit encased in a papery husk. This plant get's its name from its habit of dropping the small fruit to the ground when they are ripe. This makes it particularly suited for a children's garden since it is clear which fruit are ripe. Great for large pots or planting directly into the ground, we recommend giving each plant at least 2-4 square feet since they get so large.
