Sustainable. Local. Neighborly. We grow a diverse mix of vegetables using methods that help us live as good neighbors to people, plants, and critters. Our sustainable methods go beyond organic, and we only sell within ten miles of the farm. Each year the soil gets healthier and more productive, all without chemicals or heavy machinery. A low tech, no chemical, minimalist approach keeps costs low and forces us to be creative in living with pests, tricky soil conditions, and unanticipated neighbors–such as our namesake barn swallows.
