About
Kind Folk Farm is a small urban farm located in San Diego. Year-round offerings include mixed vegetables, herbs and fruit. Along with growing the most nutrient dense produce possible, farmer Ayzsha Smith, is focused on improving soil ecology by engaging in minimum tillage practices and using biological inputs. Kind Folk Farm is excited to offer CSA subscription options to family, friends, neighbors and fellow San Diegans!
<<<What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA subscription gets you produce from Kind Folk Farm, harvested on the day of your delivery.
<<<What’s in a box?
The full-box includes 10 different vegetables. The mini-box includes 5 different vegetables. The produce in the box reflects the season’s bounty. In the cooler months, you can expect lots of greens and root vegetables like lettuces, spinach, turnips, carrots, beets, and mushrooms. In warmer months, the boxes are bursting with heat loving vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, and corn.

Bi-Weekly Full Box - 10 kinds of vegetables every other week for $40, plus a $5 delivery fee.
Bi-Weekly Mini Box - 5 kinds of vegetables every other week for $20, plus a $5 delivery fee.
<<<How do I receive my order?
Deliveries will be every other Sunday between 3 and 9 PM.
Our delivery zones encompass much of San Diego County with exceptions including some areas of East County and some areas of North County Central.

<<<How do I purchase a box?
We are currently on a waitlist. Email us at kindfolkfarmgrown@gmail.com
and we will get you set up with a start date and walk you through creating a profile for delivery.
<<<How do I skip a week or cancel my subscription? What if I want to change box sizes?
Just send us an email (kindfolkfarmgrown@gmail.com) within 48 hours of your scheduled delivery and we can pause it or change sizes. If you notify us after the 48 hour mark (we’ve started to harvest), you can donate your box to a food pantry we partner with. You’ll be charged the normal amount and we’ll drop the box off on your behalf. Or, you can give us an alternate address when you go out of town and gift your produce to a friend or family member. Just make sure their zip code is within our delivery zone. If you’re wanting to cancel, either give us 1 delivery’s notice (so we can grab our reusable tote from you and drop your last produce delivery in a cardboard box) or make plans to return the tote to El Cajon if you don’t want a final drop.
