At Avenue 33 Farm we believe in the power of cross-pollination through skill sharing. This workshop spotlights Lydia Herigstad, a local glass-blower, farm volunteer, and homemade butter aficionado! Lydia will take us through the entire process of making your own butter at home using everyday materials and tools. You’ll start by making your own cultured cream, then learn how to process the butter in real time with our crew. Attendees will leave with fresh butter and their cultured cream ready for the next stages!
Tickets for this workshop are offered at a sliding scale. Put simply, folks that can pay more, do, so that folks who need to pay less, can. This only works with your thoughtful reflection and active participation.
